System Requirements : Matlab R2007a runs on MacOS 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard) and can be ordered via the ICTS servicedesk. The software is located on two DVD's, one for Windows and one for Linux, MacOS (PPC and Intel) and Sun Solaris. To install Matlab, an active UM VPN connection to the internet is needed. If your installation succeeded you always need an UM VPN internet connection to use Matlab. So use the VPN client. Matlab needs X11. So, FIRST install X11 from your 10.4 or 10.5 installation CD/DVD, see 10.4 or 10.5 instructions. In order to get Matlab installed you need a license file ('license.dat'). We have created that file. If you need a copy, please let us know. For more details, visit MathWorks. |
