What you need : System Requirements For the current release, the following system configuration is required

Download -and install- the (free) SAPgui for Java (for Mac) application via
ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/java. For UM SAP users please install SAPgui version 6.40 or up, version 7.00 is recommended, versions lower than 6.40 are no longer supported, and will not work with UM SAP systems. SAPgui comes with a complete manual. |

Start SAPgui the first time. Now the system configures itself. You see the SAP splashscreen a while. | ![]() ![]() |

Now download this (SAP preference) file, Copy this file to your desktop for later use. Downloading this pref file only works from computers connected via the University of Maastricht. |

MacOS X: Start the SAPgui for Java application. You see this dialog. Now click on 'New'. |

MacOS X: Open the SAP preference file you downloaded before with a text editor, copy the string in
it, and paste that string in the 'Add New Connection' window as shown here (first click on the
'Advanced' tab and 'use expert configuration') Now click on 'Save'. You can delete the downloaded SAP preference file now. |

MacOS X:That's it. You can now Connect to the SAP system. Click on 'Connect' or doubleclick on 'PRD'. Note: You can login to the SAP system from only one computer at a time. |
